The Creelman Story

Andrew Creelman, the founder and CEO of Creelman Property, spent 35 years as a teacher and administrator in a number of state and independent schools before turning to Property Development. As a father of six children in an occupation that benefits lifestyle more than remuneration, he was always looking for a way to increase his income.

Writing Maths textbooks for Year 11 & 12 students along with after-school tuition went some way to achieving this goal and Creelman's Exam Questions is now the most popular study manual for Year 12 students in Western Australia, with the New South Wales and Victorian branches opening in 2006.

After researching wealth schemes and trading stocks and shares, Andrew moved into the safer area of developing properties. The returns from developing blocks of land and buildings villas and townhouses in Perth's suburbs far outweighed his earnings as a teacher and he continued to teach Year 12 students and teachers alike about the benefits of owning their own homes, accessing equity and investing wisely.

The first development took place at 82 Barnes St, Innaloo where an old house on a corner block made way for 3 new Tuscan villas. After two years of dealing with banks, builders and salesmen, Andrew completed the project and even made a small profit despite the many mistakes and learning opportunities along the way. The most important lesson Andrew learned is that every problem can be solved with time, money and effort.

Once the first project was complete, the anxiety was shrugged off and new developments were undertaken.

Successive developments in Rivervale, Midland and East Victoria Park have only added to his expertise and knowledge of the building process while land subdivisions in Maida Vale and the escalation to two-storey townhouses in Lathlain and Highgate have increased Andrew's market awareness and expanded his enterprise from the affordability range into the developing suburbs of Perth.

All companies and organizations seek to have moral and ethical guidelines which they follow when doing business with customers and suppliers. Andrew Creelman uses the Bible as his moral code. He approaches his business with a clear strategy of honouring God in all things by acting with integrity and honesty in all things. A Christian ethos means that Andrew is held to account for everything that happens in the company and anyone dealing with Creelman should expect nothing less than excellent service. Their business ethic is to deal with others as they would expect others to deal with them.
